Nutritional Counseling - Back to top
Having a registered dietitian to counsel individuals about nutrition, is just another way Memorial Hospital is “Caring For You”. Inpatients or Outpatients can be counseled on topics such as cholesterol-lowering diets, weight loss, diabetic diets, or any other nutrition-related subject.
Patient Meals - Back to top
The meals provided at Memorial Hospital are a necessary part of a patient’s recovery. The patient’s doctor orders the diet that best suits the patient's needs and this will determine what type of food is served. Patients are able to enjoy a variety of delicious and nutritious foods through room service. For lunch and dinner, a patient chooses from a selective menu, which is appropriate for the diet ordered by their physician. This unique program allows a patient to choose what he or she wants to eat at each meal.
