Flour Fling

Be in on the ground floor of what’s sure to become a future Olympic event. Form a Flour Flinging team and participate in Flour Power’s first annual Fling-off. Flour Flinging has the suspense of NASCAR, the drama of WrestleMania and the style of Dancing with the Stars! Flour Power Family Fun Fest’s Flour Fling will follow International Flour Flinging Rules. A team has one to three members. Equipment consists of a slingshot capable of flinging a two-pound sack of pre-packaged flour up to 100 yards. You may use a purchased slingshot or build you own. Safety equipment such as helmets, goggles, pads and cups are at your team’s discretion. Shots will be judged on distance and accuracy.

Entry Fees
Ages under 10 years - $4
Ages 10 years to 17 years - $8
Ages 18 years and up - $12

Prizes
The total purse for each class will consist of 75% of the entry fees per class. The top three flings in each class will divide the purse as follows:
1st place 50%
2nd place 15%
3rd place of 10%
