Our first annual Flour Power Family Fun was a hit! Approximately 2,500 people attended the festival enjoying the vendors and events.

Organized by Memorial Health Foundation, the festival's long-term goal is to raise funds for not-for-profit Memorial Health System special projects. The Foundation wishes to thank the 100 plus volunteers who helped to put on this event and asks the community to patronize the sponsors who made this festival possible.

Twenty teams participated in the Kansas City Barbeque Society sanctioned Wheatstock Grill-Off: Peace, Love and Barbeque while over 60 cars competed in the Motor Mania Car Show. Both these totals exceeded our expectations for the first year. Concert-goers rocked out to two bands under a starry sky and the whole town was treated to a spectacular fireworks show.
