Visiting hours

Our Solariumvisiting hours are from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.  These hours are designed for patients to have guests while still maintaining a restful atmosphere.  Visits other than during these normal visiting hours need to be approved by a nurse at the nurse’s station.  It is recommended that only two visitors be with the patient at a time.  If more than two visitors need to be with the patient, they are encouraged to use the Solarium.

Children age seven though 12 years are allowed with adult supervision.  Children six and under are permitted in the family-centered childbirth unit if they are members of the immediate family of the new mother and baby.  Younger children are allowed to visit a terminally ill patient.  Under no circumstances should children visit the hospital if they have symptoms of an illness or have been exposed to children who are currently sick.
